I loved getting to know this family!  Mom called me a few days after baby Micah was born, in hopes that I might have a last minute opening.  She was in luck!  As a newborn photographer in Lancaster County, I typically encourage parents to contact me around the 5th or 6th month of pregnancy to schedule their newborn photography session.  However, I do sometimes have openings at the last minute and I’d be happy to fit you in!  Please don’t hesitate to call.  The best newborn pictures are taken when baby is about 5 to 7 days old.  At this age, they are so sleepy and easily posed.  After the 10 day mark, babies start to get a little more alert and do not tolerate being posed.  That said, it is never too late to get professional portraits of your little one, no matter how old they are!

A few weeks after their portrait session, I was able to meet with this family in their home for a “Reveal Session.”  It was so fun to sit down and watch a slide show of all the images together!  I then helped mom and dad figure out which images they wanted to include in their package, as well as which print products they wanted to purchase.  It can be overwhelming to try to decide what images to choose and what size wall art will look best in your home.  At LVR Portraits, I will help you through this entire process!  I would be doing you a disservice to hand you a CD with a bunch of data on it.  I want to make sure your beautiful artwork ends up on the walls of your home and in the hands of your children and grandchildren one day!
