Laurie Christine is an author, podcast host, certified Biblical Parenting Coach, Bible teacher, wife, and mom of four wild, loud, adventurous boys.

Her podcast, Redeeming the Chaos, invites moms of boys to join her on the wild, wonderful, chaotic adventure of raising courageous boys and connecting them with Christ.  

In addition to hosting a podcast, Laurie writes devotions and Bible stories for families. Her passion is to raise strong, courageous warriors for the Kingdom of God, and to help families like yours do the same! 

Her most recent book, Rise of the Enemy, is the first in her Dragon Slayer Bible series. The book released on Amazon in November 2023.

Laurie has more than fifteen years of experience teaching the Bible to young children as well as writing Sunday School curriculum for her local church.

Laurie Christine is an author, podcast host, certified Biblical Parenting Coach,  wife, and mom of four wild, loud, adventurous boys.

Her podcast, Redeeming the Chaos, invites moms of boys to join her on the wild, wonderful adventure of raising courageous boys and connecting them with Christ.  

In addition to hosting a podcast, Laurie writes devotions and Bible stories for families. Her passion is to raise strong, courageous warriors for the Kingdom of God, and to help families like yours do the same! As a mom of four boys, she understands how important it is for parents to connect with their children, while communicating the truth of God’s Word to them in a way they can understand. 

With degrees in Creative Writing, Biblical Studies and Education, Laurie has more than fifteen years of experience teaching the Bible to young children as well as writing Sunday School curriculum for her local church. 

Laurie serves as the Customer Service Director for the Christian Writers Institute. She is also the producer for Author Media’s podcasts hosted by Thomas Umstattd Jr: the Christian Publishing Show Podcast and Novel Marketing Podcast. She speaks at author events on the topics of podcasting, author assistants, and web design. 

Laurie owns and operates Sweet Bay Media, an organization that serves authors through web design, graphic design, and virtual assistance. 

Early Career Endeavors

Laurie started her career as a public school educator teaching Spanish and ESL at a local, urban elementary school. After her first son was born in 2010, she decided to stay home with her babies. She is now the mom of four wonderfully wild boys.

Laurie then entered the world of business and creatives, starting her own photography business. For eight years, she owned and operated LVR Portraits, a newborn photography studio in Lancaster, PA. 

In 2019, Laurie decided to put her creative writing degree to good use. Laurie combined her passion for the Bible and her love of teaching children, and began to write devotions and Bible stories for families.  Her most recent book, Rise of the Enemy, is the first in her Dragon Slayer Bible series. The book released on Amazon in November 2023.

In 2020, Laurie started her podcast, Redeeming the Chaos, a podcast for moms who feel a bit frazzled and overwhelmed by the challenge of raising boys. With four boys of her own, Laurie wants moms of boys to join her on the wild, wonderful, chaotic journey of raising courageous boys and connecting their hearts to Christ.  

Laurie is a certified Biblical Parenting Coach and seminar presenter for the National Center for Biblical Parenting.

Laurie has experienced her own parenting challenges that include a son born with a congenital heart defect (who has undergone 4 open heart surgeries), a child with ADHD and high-functioning autism, and several children who struggle with anger management challenges.

After attempting many different “behavior management” solutions, Laurie has concluded that a heart-based approach to parenting works best.
