Being a Lancaster PA child photographer means my own kids have had to put up with me taking their pictures for many years!  One of our traditions has been to take valentines pictures each year, print cards, and send them out to our close family members.  This year, my family all got a text message with the attached photos!  That’s just life these days.  Don’t let their adorable smiles fool you!   These photos were NOT as easy to capture as it might look.  For some reason, of all the kids I photograph, I am the least patient with my own boys!  “WHY can’t you just sit still for one minute!  LOOK at the camera! Sit UP!  Do not push your brother. Don’t stick your tongue out!  Get your finger out of your NOSE!  We could have been DONE by now.”  Etcetera, etcetera.  Can you relate??  We did manage to get a few good shots.   Mostly because I was whacking myself on the head with a baton and threatening to tickle them with the streamers on the end of it.  Oh, and I promised them candy, of course.   I’m all about bribery when it comes to getting a good picture!

The following pictures are a little walk down memory lane… starting with the most recent.  It’s fun to see how our family has grown over the years!  And how my photography style has developed and changed as well!  (We all have to start somewhere, right?)  Enjoy!  🙂
