Do any of you remember the old hymn, Wonderful Words of Life? I remember my Grandma singing it to me as a little girl.
“Sing them over again to me, wonderful words of life.
Let me more of their beauty see, wonderful words of life.”
Speak Words of Life to Your Kids
I think sometimes as moms we forget where our true source of life comes from. In the midst of our hectic schedules, in the middle of stinky diapers and snotty noses, in between football practices and doctor visits and piles of dirty laundry… we sometimes forget that life is found in the Word of God.
We have a special guest on our show today who is going to talk to us about the importance of being in the Word of God for ourselves, but also what it looks like to speak words of life into our children’s hearts.
Lee Ann Mancini is the host of the award-winning podcast Raising Christian Kids, a show that equips and empowers parents and grandparents to raise their children to have a solid foundation in Christ.
She is also an award-winning, best-selling, Christian children’s author and Executive Producer of the TV show Sea Kids, which can be viewed on Pure Flix, Right Now Media, and Answers.tv (Answers in Genesis). She is a professor at South Florida Bible College and Theological Seminary and loves to educate adults and children.
