As the grandson of the High Priest, Ephraim has spent his whole life preparing for the priesthood. Now, in just two days, he’ll take part in the Barque Ceremony, the sacred ritual that will bind his heart to Egypt’s gods forever.
But his father’s voice refuses to stay silent: There is no God but El Shaddai. As the ceremony draws closer, doubts begin to crack everything he thought he believed.
Caught between two faiths, Ephraim must decide between the life he always wanted and the God he can no longer ignore.
