Books for Christian Boys
Books for Christian Boys
Boys and girls are different. God made them that way. Boys have a unique, God-given desire for adventure and battles. They want to fight enemies, slay dragons, and stand for truth. But in today’s world, finding books that capture their spirit of adventure while reinforcing biblical values can feel like an impossible quest.
Introducing The Sword and Story Podcast.
This podcast is dedicated to helping Christian parents discover exciting, faith-filled books for their boys—stories packed with courage, honor, and adventure, written from a Christian worldview. We interview Christian authors who understand what boys love to read, review books that ignite their imaginations, and equip parents with the tools to build a library of God-honoring, high-stakes fiction that will keep their sons turning the pages.
But we also know that not every book boys love is written by a Christian author. That’s why we dive into some popular mainstream books as well—intentionally examing which themes align with a biblical worldview, which themes don’t, and how we can teach our boys to read with discernment. We’ll examine questions like:
- What is true in this story?
- What can we take away, and what should we reject?
- Which themes reflect the big story of the Bible, and which contradict it?
Our goal is to equip parents to guide their sons in wise, biblical thinking, helping them become strong, discerning readers who recognize truth and stand for truth.
If you’re looking for books with thrilling, Christ-centered storytelling, then you’re in the right place.
Join us as we champion clean, courageous fiction for the next generation of Christian warriors.
“Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
