Laurie Christine

Biblical Parenting Coach

I will teach you a practical, heart-based approach to dealing with challenging behaviors in your child.

Laurie Christine; reading bible stories

A biblical parenting coach focuses on the heart. While many parent coaches or therapists are mainly concerned with behavior, a biblical parenting coach will help you dig deeper and uncover underlying motivations and character deficits in your child.

Don’t worry—we’ll deal with behaviors too! But our focus is not only behaviors. External behaviors are a signal to what is going on at a deeper heart level.

We will use scripture as well as proven tools and techniques to equip you to coach your child. You are your child’s best teacher!

We also rely heavily on the Holy Spirit to work in your child’s heart, as well as your own! God will use you as a tool to influence your child, but ultimately, God is the only one who can change the heart.

“This program was lifechanging.”

“I feel so blessed to have been able to be a part of this program with Laurie! I benefitted so much by learning how to use these tools under her guidance. I have a plan in place now, and I know what to do when situations arise. I love that the goal here is heart change, and I have seen some of that in my son. He used to explode in anger when he didn’t get his way. Now, even if he does get upset, we go through the steps that I was taught, and he is able to calm down quickly and understand why that’s not a good way to act. It has made a real difference in our family and also in me.” – Biblical Parenting Client

Laurie Christine Author-4

Laurie Christine is a certified Biblical Parenting Coach, author, podcast host, wife, and mom of four wild, loud, adventurous boys. She received her coaching certification through the National Center for Biblical Parenting.

Laurie has experienced her own parenting challenges that include a son born with a congenital heart defect (who has undergone 4 open heart surgeries), a child with ADHD and high-functioning autism, and a very sensitive son with borderline ODD and anger management challenges.

After attempting many different “behavior management” solutions, Laurie has concluded that a heart-based approach to parenting works best. She is passionate about helping other parents on the journey of raising courageous kids and conneting their hearts to Christ.

Laurie admits that her family is not perfect… parenting is a marathon, not a sprint! She continues to work on heart qualities with her young boys (ages 5-11) and prays that God will continue to work in their lives and transform their hearts.

Her podcast, Redeeming the Chaos, invites moms of boys to join her in the wild, wonderful adventure of raising courageous boys and connecting them with Christ.

In addition to hosting a podcast, Laurie writes devotional Bible stories for families. As a mom of four young boys, she understands how important it is for parents to connect with their children, while communicating the truth of God’s Word to them in a way they can understand.

With degrees in Creative Writing, Biblical Studies and Education, Laurie has more than twelve years of experience in teaching the Bible to young children as well as writing Sunday School curriculum for her local church.

We will have one 50 minute coaching session via Zoom, once a week for eight weeks. During the sessions, we will choose a specific heart quality to work on with your child. I will then teach you strategies and tools that you can use with your child to work on that specific heart quality.

You will have lifetime access to training videos and other resources from the National Center for Biblical Parenting. You will gain the tools you need to deal with behavior challenges and develop godly heart qualities in your child.

In each session, you will have time to share the struggles you are dealing with in your child. We will look at scripture passages, and I will encourage you to press on and trust God to work in your child’s heart. As a mom of 4 boys, I have experienced many of the same challenges you have faced. I would love to come alongside you on the journey of discipling your child.
