Laurie Christine is an author, podcast host, speaker, Bible teacher, wife, and mom of four wild, loud, adventurous boys.
Laurie is the author of The Dragon Slayer Bible Series, Bible-based adventure stories and devotions for kids ages 8-12.
Her podcast, The Sword and Story Podcast, helps Christian parents discover exciting, faith-filled books for their boys.
Laurie’s passion is to raise strong, courageous warriors for the Kingdom of God, and to help families like yours do the same.

Laurie Christine is an author, podcast host, speaker, Bible teacher, wife, and mom of four wild, loud, adventurous boys.
Laurie is the author of The Dragon Slayer Bible Series, adventure-packed biblical fiction and devotions for kids ages 8-12. Her passion is to raise strong, courageous warriors for the Kingdom of God, and to help families like yours do the same.

Laurie speaks at homeschool conventions and writers conferences across the country.
With degrees in Education, Creative Writing, and Biblical Studies, Laurie has more than twenty years of experience teaching the Bible to children and teens.
Laurie also serves as the Producer for Author Media’s podcasts: The Christian Publishing Show Podcast and the Novel Marketing Podcast, and the webmaster for Enclave Publishing.
Laurie owns Sweet Bay Media, where she serves authors as a web designer and indie publishing coach.
Laurie’s Writing & Publishing Timeline
Laurie started her career as a public school educator in 2002, teaching Spanish and ESL (English as a Second Language) at a local, urban elementary school. After her first son was born in 2010, she decided to stay home with her babies. She is now the mom of four wonderfully wild boys.
In 2013, Laurie entered the world of business and creatives, starting her own photography business. For eight years, she owned and operated LVR Portraits, a newborn photography studio in Lancaster, PA.
In 2019, Laurie decided to put her creative writing degree to good use. Laurie combined her passion for the Bible and her love of teaching children, and began to write biblical fiction and devotions for preteen readers.
In 2020, Laurie started her podcast, Redeeming the Chaos, a podcast for moms who feel frazzled and overwhelmed by the challenge of raising boys. With four boys of her own, Laurie wants moms of boys to join her on the wild, wonderful, chaotic journey of raising courageous boys and connecting their hearts to Christ.
In 2023, Laurie published Rise of the Enemy, book zero in the Dragon Slayer Bible Series.
In 2024, Laurie published Garden of Mysteries, the first full length middle grade novel in the Dragon Slayer Bible Series. She also published a companion devotional for Garden of Mysteries.
In 2025, Laurie started a new podcast, The Sword and Story Podcast, helping Christian parents discover exciting, faith-filled books for their boys.
In 2026, Laurie published Land of Giants, book 2 in The Dragon Slayer Bible Series.
