I love that Gavin’s newborn photos included so many shots with mom and dad! Parents, do you know that it’s SO important for you to actually be IN some pictures with your children, not just TAKING the pictures? All of my newborn sessions include images of mom, dad and siblings with the new baby! It’s such an honor for me to capture those first moments with you and your new baby that you will not ever get back. As your baby grows, he will love looking back at the pictures of when he was just a newborn and seeing how much he is loved and cherished in your family!
Moms, I know you won’t feel your best only a week after giving birth. I totally get it! I will make sure to shoot from a flattering angle and crop pictures where mostly just your upper body and head is showing. Plus, your sweet babe will be a great “cover” for the areas that aren’t quite back in shape just yet!

These images of Dad’s hands with baby are just so stunning to me! I love seeing how big and strong Dad’s hands are compared to the teeny tiny baby. Never again will they be so tiny!
