Oh my goodness, what a cutie!  And don’t you love his name?  Trapper was such a perfect baby to work with.  He was a few weeks early, so he was extra sleepy and perfectly fit into every pose I did with him.  I just love how this whole session turned out.  Such a beautiful family!  (I was also excited to try out my new white “milk” bucket prop… scroll to the end to check it out!)

I try to schedule my newborn photography sessions when babies are about 7 days old.  That’s when they’re the most sleepy and posable.  Newborns change so quickly at this age!  I want to be sure to capture their teeny, tiny features for you to remember always!  My newborn photography sessions take place in my home studio.  I use a lot of natural, neutral colors and minimal props in my sessions.  I love collecting unique baskets, boxes and bowls to use with my newborns.  With newborns, I am able to be creative with wrapping techniques, textures, layers and subtle pops of color.  I use a combination of wraps, as well as bare skin.  It’s my passion to create beautiful, timeless images of your new baby and family that you will treasure for generations to come!  Contact me at to schedule a newborn photography session!
